  By completing a DCA course, candidates will be able to:
  • Acquire confidence in using computer techniques available to users.
  • Understanding the basic components of computers and terminology.
  • Understand data, information, and file management.
  • Create documents using Word processor, Spreadsheet, and Presentation Software.
  • Understanding computer networks, the Internet, and they will also learn about browsing the internet, content search, and email.
  • Use a computer to improve existing skills and learn new skills.

Eligibility Criteria for the Course

Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria before deciding to pursue Diploma in Computer Applications. They will be able to get admission for the course by following a certain selection process depending on institutes that offer a DCA computer course.

The common eligibility criteria followed for DCA course admission across India are as follows.

• Candidates willing to pursue a Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) course must have completed and passed in their high school/ 10 + 2 from a recognised board.
• Also, choosing computers as their main or optional subject after Class 10 will give students an additional edge over others.
• Apart from this no other eligibility criteria are set for the candidates. No minimum cutoff is required.
